Programmes

Studies tailored to your project

German higher education offers many pathways and fields of study, including: Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Law and Humanities.

Programmes are taught in German or English depending on the institution and the programme. The choice of programme depends on your academic background, your language level and your career plans.

Preparatory pathway

The Studienkolleg: your gateway to German universities

For students holding a Moroccan Baccalaureate, entry to a German Bachelor's programme generally requires a preparatory pathway before starting university.

The Studienkolleg is a preparatory programme lasting about one year. It strengthens your German and provides the academic knowledge needed to continue higher education in Germany.

The course is chosen according to the intended field of study:

  • M-Kurs

    health and related scientific fields

  • T-Kurs

engineering, computer science, mathematics and sciences

  • W-Kurs

    economics, management and social sciences

  • G-Kurs

humanities, languages and certain artistic disciplines

After the Studienkolleg

Bachelor's, Master's and career-focused pathways

After the Studienkolleg, students can pursue a Bachelor's degree in their chosen field. Depending on their plans, they can then go on to a Master's or build their professional experience.

Germany also offers particularly practice-oriented programmes at Universities of Applied Sciences, an option for students who want to bring their studies closer to the professional world.
